School Administrative Reorganization Updates Available

AUGUSTA – The state Department of Education invites teachers, administrators, parents, community members, and anyone who is interested to sign up for occasional updates on the progress of school administrative reorganization legislation currently before the Legislature.  The updates will also provide information about the implementation phase once final legislation passes, as well as other updates from the Department of Education.
 
The revised legislation has been drafted by a subcommittee of the Appropriations Committee and will be reviewed by the full committee in early May before it moves to the full House and Senate for final approval.  For more information on the legislation details, and to sign up for the updates, visit: www.maine.gov/education/enews/index.shtml .
