All grades at the Holy Cross School held a two-week “penny” drive, the sum of which was given to the Food Cupboard. It is absolutely amazing that they could collect so many pennies, we were overwhelmed!
Now, you would never guess that the total came to $1,246.67 but it did! The 8th grade class, that has been doing community service at the Cupboard for the past two years, won the prize for the most pennies collected. To all of the students who worked so very hard, we love you and thank you! You are awesome!
