Letter: ‘Vote for Bliss is vote for Maine’ (May 16, 2008)

Our Maine state primary is coming up in June. We, in District 1, are fortunate to have Larry Bliss, an experienced, competent, honest man of integrity running for the Maine Senate.
Larry has served in our State House of Representatives for eight years. He knows how to listen to and act for his constituents and how to work with his peers to get bills on the floor and passed. Prior to this he does his homework! He identifies the issues and looks for solutions keeping in mind that we live in a state not just a district.
We need people like Larry Bliss in the Maine Senate. I am proud to endorse his candidacy and encourage others to check out his record and look for opportunities to meet and speak with him.
I believe a vote for Larry Bliss is a vote for Maine.
