Letter: Brennan has impressive skills, leadership (June 6, 2008)
Editor:
I met Michael Brennan more than 25 years ago when he was working for the United Way and I was a United Way volunteer. Michael impressed me with his leadership and skills in working with others for the good of the community.
Since then, he has demonstrated time and again in the Maine legislature and in this community the skills and ability to work with others for the good of the people of Maine. He is committed to making quality health care affordable and available to everyone and to bringing a rapid end to this disastrous war in Iraq. He will work toward strengthening our schools and making college education accessible to all young people who are willing to work for it and expanding access to education for all. Michael Brennan has the leadership skills, experience and commitment to effectively represent Maine’s First District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Please join me in supporting Michael Brennan in the Democratic primary on June 10.
