Letter: Praise for Collins’ perfect records (July 18, 2008)

I recently learned that Sen. Susan Collins has received a 100 percent rating from the National Federation of Independent Business. Collins has also received a perfect score from the League of Conservation Voters, an organization which advocates for sound environmental policies. Add to this the fact that Collins has a perfect voting record. She has never missed a single roll call vote in her almost 12 years of service in the U.S. Senate.
In these tough economic times, we need a senator who gives 100 percent every day and who is pro-business and pro-a clean environment. Hats off to Collins for her perfect scores for business and the environment and for working hard every day for Maine people.
