Letter: Thanks to Kaenrath for state service (Sept. 19, 2008)

Editor:

As the 123rd Legislature draws to an end, I wanted to take a moment to thank Rep. Bryan Kaenrath of South Portland for his hard work and dedication to the people of South Portland.

The Legislature’s youngest member, Bryan has brought a refreshing and youthful perspective to our work. Bryan has shown a great enthusiasm for reinvigorating Maine’s economy so that more young people like himself will have a future in our state.  Bryan’s first term in the house was marked by the passage of Opportunity Maine, which will help to encourage more people to stay and work in Maine after they graduate.

It has been an honor to have served with Bryan Kaenrath in the Maine House of Representatives and I thank the voters of South Portland for giving me that opportunity.

Glenn Cummings

Speaker of the House
