   I am writing in regards to Brian Norton’s letter in Friday’s Sentry. The letter he submitted should have focused on the disagreement over the Knightville project issue but became an unabashed personal attack. He did not include any details about the actual issue or disagreement but seemed to have written this letter from a personal knee-jerk response to a participant in a public discussion. Being that these issues impact us all in South Portland, I would assert that anyone is entitled to chime in their opinions and concerns whether or not they are sitting in council chamber seats. In my opinion, Mr. Norton made himself the one with the “unproductive comments” which he should keep to himself.
