Editor:

 We need more legislators like Cynthia Dill. Intelligence and independent thinking are traits that our community and the state of Maine need more of. Cynthia’s knowledge and insight on pressing issues such as education, business climate, and health care bring more to the table than typical political rhetoric.

  Cynthia’s record as a freshmen legislator has demonstrated a willingness to make tough decisions to curb government spending, hold budget’s in line and adapt new legislation to best serve our community. Her ability to base decisions on her own research makes her a legislator that can lead and be trusted. I am impressed with her willingness to assess each issue on its own merits, following her own intuition and not the crowds’. She supports the reduction of government spending in a fashion that cuts spending where our money is being wasted, but preserves budgets where good work is being done in a cost effective manner.

    It’s a benefit to Maine and our community to have such a well balanced, intelligent legislator to help guide our government.
