   I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the folks who participated in the 40th anniversary event for the South Portland Housing Authority Saturday, Sept. 13. I extend a special thanks to my staff, the housing authority board, the local community agencies who participated and all the folks from the community who donated food for the South Portland Food Cupboard and shared the day with us!

   It is great to be part of the special community that is South Portland.
