SOUTH PORTLAND
BAD MEMORIES
Officers filed a report of domestic dispute when a woman threatened to kill her husband when he returned to their home on Memory Lane. Police said the man eventually applied for a protection order.
GRANDPA’S NEW SHOES
A 61-year-old Gorham man was summonsed for attempting to steal more than $110 in merchandise from a clothing store at the Maine Mall.
BONGS, BATONS AND JAGERMEISTER
Eight teenagers, seven boys and one girl, were found on Fisherman’s Point with a glass bong and several bottles of alcohol. Three of the boys were arrested, one for possession of an expandable baton, another for possession of marijuana and the third for possession of a bottle of Jagermeister liquor.
CALLER ID
Police were directed to a residence on Stillman Street where a resident called 911 and then hung up. Upon arrival, officers broke up a fight between a husband and wife and arrested the man for domestic violence charges.
TAKE WITH FOOD
Emergency medical service workers responded to a residence on Broadway after receiving a call that a resident had overdosed. Police say the resident took too much Valium and it is unclear whether the medication was theirs or belonged to someone else.
NASTY NOTE
A 27-year-old man was arrested after he passed a note to a drug store clerk demanding drugs. Police say he was not armed but the threat of force was enough to charge him with armed robbery.
